Athletic Trainer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at ADB Pros. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre-habilitation and injury prevention services to our flight crew members.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and provide pre-habilitation of all affected aircrew who request the services of the OHWS Specialist.
  • Track the Individual Training Plan status of all aircrew who are currently being followed in the OHWS program.
  • Provide all forms of injury (acute and/or duty-limiting) prevention services; including but not limited to physical assessments, personnel health education, and nutrition advising.
  • Manage aircrew appointment schedules, individual OHWS Specialist work schedules, and reporting of all members who fail to attend their scheduled appointments.
Requirements:
  • A degree specifically for "Athletic Trainer" from a National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) accredited institution.
  • A current Licensed Athletic Trainer by the OATA (Orthopedic Athletic Trainer Association) process.
  • A current Athletic Trainer (AT) Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
  • CPR certification, including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training/certification.
  • Compliance with NATA continuing education requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with professional and/or collegiate athletes.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy clinic.
  • Previous experience with F-15 aircrew or equivalent.
