Job Summary:
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience with mammography equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform specialized examinations of the breast to aid in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary.
- Demonstrate ability to perform advanced breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic and MRI biopsies.
- Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- 4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) - ARRT.
- BLS certification.
