Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of NDT instruments under the guidance of a Certified Technician.
  • Support NDT Technicians in executing necessary inspections.
  • Collaborate with Radiographers to conduct radiographic examinations of piping and equipment.
  • Help ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inspection findings.
  • Gain familiarity with relevant codes and procedures to effectively perform testing.
  • Carry out additional job-related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid Driver's License and successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing are mandatory.
  • Pre-employment background checks will be conducted.
  • Completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Training course is required.
  • Possession of a Radiographer state card is advantageous.
  • Experience and training in NDT will be viewed favorably.
  • Technical experience is preferred.
  • Current SPRAT Rope Access certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move, carry, and lift objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
  • Capability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb as needed.
  • Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor environments under all weather conditions.
