About the Position:
We currently have an opening for a Regional HVAC and Refrigeration Expert (RRS) to oversee the Refrigeration and HVAC operations in TFM stores located in the Northeast United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, implement, audit, and assess the maintenance, installation, and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems within assigned stores.
- Review, manage, and track work orders daily to ensure proper completion.
- Travel within assigned locations to identify and resolve refrigeration issues.
- Ensure that equipment and systems within assigned stores are functioning correctly.
- Coordinate and facilitate the replacement of outdated equipment with new systems.
- Evaluate and assess service contractors, including sourcing new vendors as necessary.
- Update and maintain information in the work order management system for assigned stores.
- Obtain quotes and approve invoices promptly.
- Effectively communicate with the Zone Vice Presidents, Regional Manager of Operations, and stores regarding the status of work orders.
- Participate in weekly regional calls.
Qualifications:
The Regional HVAC and Refrigeration Expert (RRS) must exhibit exceptional customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, urgency, and business acumen is essential.
- Five (5) years of experience in Commercial HVAC&R; supermarket experience is advantageous.
- Trade School or additional training is beneficial.
- Demonstrated proficiency in key building systems, including Rack and Self-Contained Refrigeration, HVAC, Emerson Controls, and Building Automation Systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships within and outside The Fresh Market.
- 80% travel required within assigned territory, including overnight and weekend commitments.
- Availability for On Call 24/7, in rotation with other team members.
- Must reside centrally within the territory.
