Clinical Nurse Specialist

To coordinate and monitor patient care in the assigned clinical area, focusing on wound care for surgical specialty departments. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and initiate IV therapy as needed.
• Develop and implement patient teaching plans, including wound care, diabetes management, and therapeutic diets.
• Manage recovery care, triage walk-in patients, and serve as a resource for other staff members.
• Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care and provide phone triage and care advice.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of current experience in an ambulatory setting, IV therapy experience, and relevant nursing licenses and certifications are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in computer software and previous surgical or wound care experience are preferred.
