About the Role

HonorHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Review patient identification, orders, and history to ensure correct patient, procedure, imaging site, and protocols.
  • Transport patients to and from the exam room and assist them into position using safe patient handling techniques and equipment.
  • Perform CT procedures and observe patients during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast materials as required and initiate emergency response to contrast reactions as needed.
  • Obtain and evaluate images for technical quality assurance factors, including image laterality marking and annotation as required by CT procedure protocols.
  • Utilize RIS, PACS, and other ancillary image management systems as needed.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily workflow for the department's activities.
  • Maintain equipment in efficient operating order, perform and document all required quality control testing, and contact service for repair and maintenance as directed.
  • Rotate throughout the department as staffing and volume dictate.
  • Participate in orientation, training, and in-servicing of staff as needed.
  • Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe environment for patients and staff in assigned areas and maintain stock and inventory as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of general radiology experience via employment or training required.
  • AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
  • AZ Certified CT Technologist (CTCT) or Temporary license acceptable at the time of hire required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) current and valid certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) current and valid certification required.
