Job Purpose: As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production activities are completed on-time and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control production activities to meet customer demands and internal metrics.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and develop production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and delays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in machine shop or sheet metal fabrication.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and train production team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to noise, machinery, and physical demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the production floor.
  • Regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
