Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team as a Cardiovascular Specialist in the Cath Lab. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care during cardiovascular procedures.

We are a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for our innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to workplace excellence. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We collaborate with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Our hospital has received several prestigious awards, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, the American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, the Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
• Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.

• Cath Lab RT Orientation completion within 6 months.
• Completion of all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
• 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent.
• Current RCIS certification.

This position offers an estimated salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
