Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will work with students who have language handicaps, articulation deficits, dysfluencies, and voice disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized programs of therapy to meet the unique needs of students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy and provide support to students.
  • Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families as needed.
  • Assist in proper referrals of individuals to agencies and specialists in the community.
  • Screen students to identify speech handicapped children at regular intervals and at specified levels.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Certification as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in the field of Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the school community.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely in oral and written communication.
