Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Oceaneering Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of user requirements and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through preparation of concept of operations, interface control documents, hazard analysis, and test plans and procedures.
  • Contribute to the creation of systems engineering documentation, including system engineering plans, initial capabilities documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Review progress and evaluate results of work accomplished by self and others.
  • Prepare reports and present results to management and client.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of practical experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with an SEDB tool, preferably DOORS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in related field.
  • Experience with schema development, document import and export, linking, report generation, and database management.

This role involves contributing to engineering design efforts by assisting with the creation of systems engineering documentation, such as concepts of operations, requirements specifications, interface control documents and drawings, hazard analysis, and test plans and procedures. The Systems Engineer will interact with other OTECH team members and the client to help ensure engineering efforts align with client needs.
