Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and underwrite agricultural loans, deposits, and associated services for a varied client portfolio.
- Build and sustain relationships with both new and existing clients to encourage business expansion.
- Perform comprehensive financial evaluations and risk assessments to ensure loan feasibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee prompt loan processing and approvals.
- Stay informed on market dynamics, competitive insights, and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
- Structure loan conditions and negotiate agreements.
- Prepare loan proposals and presentations for review and endorsement.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance and proactively address potential challenges.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and nurture strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Agricultural Loan Specialist.
- Demonstrated success in loan origination, underwriting, and credit analysis. Prior experience as a loan underwriter or credit analyst is preferred.
- Experience in preparing loan memorandums for credit committee approval is also preferred.
- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of lending regulations and compliance best practices.
