**About the Role**


The Nurse Leader for Acute Care is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and leading a team of nurses to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.


**Key Responsibilities**


Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes.


  • Assess patient's physiological and psychosocial health status
  • Develop and implement care plans to address patient's needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Lead a team of nurses to achieve exceptional patient outcomes


Leadership Skills

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to:



  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members
  • Make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment


**Required Qualifications**


To be considered for this role, you must have:



  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • Specialized certifications as needed
  • At least 2 years of experience in acute care nursing


**Salary and Benefits**


The salary for this role is $67-$67/hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and paid time off.
