National Indoor RV Centers is currently expanding and is in search of a proficient Paint & Body Technician. The primary responsibility of the RV Paint & Body Technician is to repair, restore, and repaint damaged recreational vehicles.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various body construction types and demonstrate expertise in utilizing a range of tools and materials to restore vehicles to their original state.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in bodywork is mandatory for consideration.
Our Paint & Body Technicians can earn between $30 and $40 per flat rate hour. This position operates Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate damaged RVs and determine the necessary repairs.
2. Execute body repairs using an array of tools and materials, including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
3. Replace or fix damaged components such as windows, doors, and trim.
4. Sand, prime, and paint repaired sections to ensure a seamless match with the RV's existing finish.
5. Test repaired systems to confirm proper functionality.
6. Maintain and clean tools and equipment regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in RV or automotive body repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with various RV body construction techniques.
- Proficient in the use of tools and materials such as hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of paint mixing and matching methods.
- Good physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy equipment and remain standing for long durations.
- Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service facility.
- May involve extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
- May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects.
- May necessitate working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Potential exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals.
- May involve working on weekends or holidays.
