This role is pivotal in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of enterprise-level applications essential for delivering health services in military operational settings. The primary responsibility will be to validate that JOMIS applications fulfill stakeholder expectations and operate smoothly across various hardware and network configurations utilized by the military branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verification and Validation: Conduct comprehensive verification and validation of the JOMIS application suite, ensuring compliance with the specified requirements for each military branch, including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. Your contributions will ensure optimal functionality in designated operational environments.
  • Test Plan Development: Create, implement, and manage detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures in alignment with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaboration: Engage closely with software developers, system analysts, and engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and rectify software challenges. Facilitate multiple testing cycles to ensure all identified issues are resolved.
  • Product Design Review: Take part in product design evaluations, offering expert feedback grounded in a thorough understanding of functional requirements to enhance product quality and performance.
  • Documentation Support: Aid in the creation of comprehensive documentation, including system design specifications, user training materials, and system administration guides.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in providing functional and/or technical support for DoD electronic Health Record systems and web-based applications.
  • Thorough understanding of the System Development Lifecycle, encompassing system definition, development, design, analysis, control, integration, and testing.
  • Expertise in managing data flow within integrated health systems while safeguarding privacy-related information.
  • Proven understanding of JOMIS systems.
  • Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of military operational medicine, including experience in delivering health services in varied deployed environments, such as field hospitals and combat support settings.
  • Certification in Agile or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with Cerner or similar commercial clinical application suites.
