Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Content Creator to join our team at 1stop Photography. As a key member of our media production team, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality visual content for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit news stories and special events using a variety of equipment and software.
  • Operate live trucks and other ENG equipment to capture live shots and establish remote broadcasts.
  • Utilize communications equipment for in-house and field communications, including microwave and satellite transmissions.
  • Apply good lighting, photographic, audio, and editing techniques to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Assist in planning major event coverage, including site checks, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, or broadcasting.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a news photographer/editor.
  • Knowledge of basic journalism and digital production techniques.
  • Experience with the operation of a P2 camera, P2 editing equipment, and non-linear editing software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team with other journalists.
  • Understanding of how to utilize social media to promote visual content and engage with audiences.
  • Valid driver's license.
