Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Choctaw Workforce Solutions. As a LVN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and readiness of our Service Members.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide high-quality care to patients, following Medical Treatment Facility productivity standards. See an average of four to six patients per hour, obtaining patient histories, administering Health Risk Appraisals, and documenting care provided with precision and accuracy.
- Clinical Decision-Making: Make strong clinical decisions and solve problems effectively, applying expertise to deliver safe and effective patient care.
- Collaboration: Communicate essential patient data to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners, supporting integrated care. Complete and document all medical orders from Physicians, PAs, or NPs in patient records.
- Maintenance: Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and reports, including treatment documentation in accordance with MTF policies. Close out each patient encounter by the end of the day and consistently meet established standards for content and accuracy.
- Educational Background: Graduate of an accredited college, university, or vocational nursing program recognized by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or other relevant accrediting bodies.
- Experience: At least one year of experience as a full-time LVN/LPN within the last three years.
- Licensure & Certifications: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a vocational nurse in any U.S. jurisdiction. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
- Compensation: $63,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Location: Work will primarily be performed at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) and affiliated facilities within a forty-mile radius with potential assignments based on operational needs.
- Schedule: Hours may vary based on mission requirements, including surge support during mobilizations and demobilizations. Flexibility is required to meet mission demands.
