Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool is responsible for conducting thorough assessments to determine the health status of residents and to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care tailored to individual needs and preferences. RNs supervise practical nurses, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other nursing staff by evaluating their competencies, clarifying expectations, and addressing any concerns to ensure resident safety and promote optimal physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

About the Float Pool

The Monarch Float Pool was established to provide staffing support across our Monarch facilities. You will have the flexibility to choose your shifts based on the operational needs of Monarch Healthcare Management. This role requires travel, and various benefits are available. Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of a nursing education program accredited by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Preferred:

  • Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living environments.
