About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Mediabistro. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to identify and implement marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with sales, service, and corporate teams.
  • Support all aspects of the Mediabistro corporate and divisional brands, including participation in branding strategy, positioning, guidelines, and implementation with the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain customer marketing content strategy to align with Mediabistro's goals, evaluating the effectiveness of marketing investments and seeking feedback to modify strategies/programs as needed.
  • Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote Mediabistro's products and services with our customers, working closely with the sales team and cross-functionally with other leaders.
  • Actively involved in the development and maintenance of all marketing content and collateral (digital, print, or other), engaging appropriate stakeholders and communicating available marketing resources to the sales team.
  • Forge internal partnerships, collaborating with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business objectives, messaging, and audiences.
  • Write, edit, and produce high-quality marketing content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other marketing content, planning and maintaining a content calendar to coordinate with various departments to schedule and publish marketing-related content.
  • Oversee all external marketing channels in the context of customer-centric communications, including websites and social media, monitoring and recommending strategies for improving SEO and ROI for digital marketing investments.
  • Stay apprised of current marketing industry best practices, identifying and implementing strategies to increase our brand awareness.
  • Become an expert in the commercial and residential door and loading dock equipment marketplace, keeping up to date with competitor and supplier news and marketing activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience within the Marketing discipline, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience with Social Media technology, practices, analytics, and content creation platforms.
