Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and retrieve specific items from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
• Prepare all necessary documentation, including pick tickets and manifests, to initiate the shift.
• Compile the dock sheet for organizing routes and associated paperwork.
• Sort and categorize incomplete pick tickets to maintain order and efficiency.
• Confirm all products before marking them as out of stock or substituting, ensuring accuracy through system checks.
• Collaborate with the Night Operations team to verify substitutions and out-of-stock items throughout the night.
• Maintain clear communication regarding key accounts and first-time orders, ensuring all substitutions are verified and communicated effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
• Proficient in complex problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a warehouse or shipping setting, with a focus on auditing or quality control preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and familiar with common email systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a cold and wet environment for prolonged durations.

Work Schedule:

• Second Shift (Sunday to Friday, with one weekday off and Saturday off).
• Start time: 5:00 PM.
