Key Responsibilities

  • Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the maintenance team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Examine and Report Damage: Conduct regular examinations of resort units to identify any damage or wear and tear, and report these findings to the management team.
  • Retrieve Housekeepers: Retrieve housekeepers to address any areas that need to be re-cleaned or re-inspected.
  • Replace Missing Inventory: Replace any missing inventory or supplies as needed.
  • Solve Guest Complaints: Assist in resolving guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain Clean and Organized Storage Closets: Ensure that storage closets are clean and organized, and that all supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Utilize Supplies and Equipment Efficiently: Use supplies and equipment in an efficient and effective manner to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Report Lost or Found Items: Report any lost or found items to the management team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Professional Appearance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff appear professional and are in full uniform at all times.
  • Exemplify a Sense of Urgency: Demonstrate a sense of urgency and importance in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Experience in the Hotel Industry: Previous experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a housekeeping or maintenance role, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to Work in a Drug-Free Workplace: The ability to work in a drug-free workplace is essential for this position.
