Surgical Specialist

Seeking a skilled Surgical Specialist to join our team at Ludington Hospital. As a vital member of our surgical services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

• Maintain a sterile environment, ensuring the highest standards of infection control.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement preference cards, optimizing efficiency and reducing waste.
• Participate in case costing initiatives, working closely with surgeons and EMIs to identify areas for cost savings.

We seek candidates with a strong educational background in Surgical Technology or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire. We also encourage applicants with Surgical Tech Certification.

Ludington Hospital offers a competitive salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience.
