We are seeking a dedicated Virginia Safety and Emissions Evaluation Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment where the potential for growth is substantial (consider managing over 900 vehicles monthly) and where your expertise is consistently recognized and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct VA Safety Inspections with precision and accountability.
  • Execute Emissions Inspections.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to relay information to the Service Advisor, ensuring customers are kept informed about their vehicle's condition.
  • Provide accurate estimates regarding the time required for repairs.
  • Carry out tasks specified in the repair order efficiently and accurately, adhering to all state and manufacturer standards.
  • Perform a comprehensive multi-point inspection on each vehicle.

Wiygul Automotive Clinic is a celebrated, family-owned tire and auto service establishment in the DC region. Our journey began in 1976 with a single auto repair shop in Alexandria, VA, founded by our grandparents. Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive experience in various aspects of automotive service and repair.
  • Friendly and positive demeanor.
  • Reliable and dependable.
  • Valid and clean Driver's License.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Ambitious with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master ASE Certification.
  • Virginia State Inspector Certification.
  • Emission Repair Technician Certification.
  • Experience as an automotive technician or equivalent educational background.
