Position Overview:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our agency, you will be instrumental in ensuring the health and comfort of our residents. Your role will involve delivering direct nursing care, administering prescribed medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and overseeing the execution of individualized care plans.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to formulate and implement care plans.
  • Provide wound care and other necessary nursing interventions.
  • Supervise and support Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering care.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and protocols.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid state of Maine LPN license.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • An interest in the nursing needs of the elderly and chronically ill.
  • Strong clinical skills, particularly in medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
