Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN

NICU Nurse Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Grady Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for critically ill newborns and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with complex medical conditions using advanced equipment and techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to families of critically ill newborns.
- Perform routine medical procedures, including inserting IV lines and administering medications.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP.
- Ability to perform a GAPS check with ORI number issued or in process.
Work Environment: As an NICU RN at Grady Memorial Hospital, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for caring for critically ill newborns and their families, and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients.
