Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Renal Transplant team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN.
About the Role
This position coordinates kidney transplant care for patients of all ages, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.
- Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated, ensuring necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
- May supervise and direct nursing staff, coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred.
