Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent development for assigned client groups.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for assigned client groups, including understanding staffing needs, defining role specifications, conducting interviews, creating job offers, and coordinating onboarding plans.
- Employee Relations: Utilize conflict management skills to resolve employee and manager conflicts, investigate misconduct allegations, and guide management on disciplinary and termination procedures.
- Compliance, Policies, & Procedures: Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures related to hiring, training, rewards, recognition, and employee development.
- Change Management: Champion continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and promoting new initiatives within assigned client groups.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process by establishing competencies, addressing performance issues, and providing coaching on corrective actions.
- Reporting: Generate, analyze, and distribute HR reports to departmental management as needed.
- General Support: Conduct exit interviews, record data for retention analysis, and coordinate unemployment response.
- Talent Development: Lead staffing actions and work with management to create development and succession plans, enhancing bench strength and supporting talent review objectives.
- Organizational Diagnostics & Development: Assess and analyze organizational capabilities, developing and implementing improvements to align with business strategies.
- Compensation: Manage compensation programs, benchmark external salary data, administer compensation processes, and assist with job descriptions.
- Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for majors in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM) is preferred.
- 5+ years of HR administration experience in a high-growth, changing environment. Proven track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the aviation industry is desired but not required.
