Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at St. Mary's Medical Center. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our hospital facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of corridors, patient floors, and public areas.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of walls, doors, baseboards, windows, stairwells, and elevator tracks adjacent to corridors on a daily basis.
  • Remove all necessary equipment left in corridors to ensure free passage for transporters with patients coming off the elevators.
  • Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with hospital team members and supervisors.
  • Be dependable and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
