We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at GXO Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, equipment, and materials throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials
  • Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy to track inventory and manage warehouse operations
  • Load and unload trailers as needed to ensure efficient receipt and shipment of goods
  • Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
  • Display a commitment to process excellence and quality in all aspects of your work
  • Perform inbound receiving processes to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods

Requirements:

  • Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
  • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull
  • Stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time
  • Handle or manage tools or equipment
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
