Job Summary

This position performs human resource administrative support for corporate duties as well as facility duties, that also can include backing up the human resource manager when out of office. The human resource assistant is responsible for learning and performing in variety of databases, Microsoft Office, and other administrative functions as assigned. This position split time between multiple office locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the HR department.
  • Populate and function in the company human resources information system (HRIS).
  • Function in vendor insurance databases by populating and updating employee data.
  • Handles attendance & timekeeping.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist with orientation.
  • Assists with employee events.
  • Limited back-up functions when the HR Manager is out of office.
  • Communicates with the HR Manager for a seamless representation of the HR office.
  • Good customer service skills, friendly, reliable, and organized office.
  • Documents events daily activities well and detail orientated.
  • Maintains accuracy of employee files.
  • Assists with employee engagement activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Meets all "Good Manufacturing Practices".
  • Practice safety requirements established by OSHA and Peace River Citrus Products.
  • Conforms to requirements of PRCP food safety programs.
  • Be available to work extended shifts and days.
  • Comply with FDA, USDA, and GMP policies. Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Food Safety, and Cost objectives. Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under PRCP Quality System.
  • Participate in the quality improvement process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2 – 3 years Proven experience as a human resource professional.
  • Experience working in HRIS applications.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Understands and maintains HR confidentiality.
  • Team player.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
