Jewish Studies and Bible Instructor Position:

The Leffell School seeks a highly motivated and qualified instructor to teach Jewish Studies and Bible courses to our Lower School students. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students and contributing to our mission of fostering responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for Jewish Studies and Bible courses.
  • Develop and implement assessments to measure student understanding.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate curriculum and promote student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience in a similar setting
  • Native/Near Native Hebrew language proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of Jewish Studies and Bible

Salary and Benefits:
  • Paid annual salary: $70,000-$80,000
