Actuary Consultant

Milliman, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Consulting Actuary to join our team. As a Consulting Actuary, you will provide expert advice on financial reporting issues, including IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and U.S. statutory accounting. You will also work on pricing, reserving, financial projections, and mergers and acquisitions related to life insurance and health insurance products.

• Provide consulting services on financial reporting issues, including IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and U.S. statutory accounting.
• Work on pricing, reserving, financial projections, and mergers and acquisitions related to life insurance and health insurance products.
• Perform technical work, delegate tasks to junior staff, and review the work of others.
• Assist with research and product development, and create client communications.
• Participate in business development activities to increase revenue for the practice.
• Conduct research and development projects to establish the practice as a thought leader in the industry.
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff on a particular project team.

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or another quantitative STEM field.
• Five years of experience as an actuary or closely related role.
• Designation as a Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA).
• Experience providing actuarial services for life insurance and annuity products, financial reporting, actuarial modeling, and other related areas.

Full-time position with a salary range of $170,872 - $222,310 per year.
