Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of the Emergency and Critical Care department, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
- Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and policies to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and other department heads to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Manage departmental budgets, including staff salaries, supplies, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a veterinary clinical management role, preferably in an emergency and critical care setting.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on team development and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, clients, and referring veterinarians.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, develop business plans, and drive growth and development.
- Advanced degree in veterinary medicine or a related field, such as a Master's or Doctoral degree.
