About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our food distribution facility.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Empty trash bins and clean the trash area daily, and operate the trash compactor as needed.
  • Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on a rotating basis.
  • Clean up spills and breakages, and determine if products are resalable or must be disposed of in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Perform light maintenance duties as assigned, such as replacing light bulbs and collecting recyclable materials.
  • Prepare reports and forms to document cleaning schedules, spillages, and product damage.
  • May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, and offices.
  • Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.
  • Operate scrubber, pallet jack, and high lift as required to perform duties.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous custodial and/or sanitation experience preferred.
