**Job Summary**

Purdue University Global is seeking qualified individuals to teach in our School of Nursing. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality educational experiences to our students. **Our Opportunity**

The mission of the on-ground, part-time adjunct nursing instructor is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the field of nursing. To accomplish this mission, all instructors will utilize their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated and consistent team effort under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Education/Dean/Program Chair, or their designee.

**Responsibilities**

• Provide an engaging learning environment through hands-on activities and open communication

• Guide students towards academic excellence

• Partner with advisors and leadership on student concerns, resolution, retention, and outcomes

• Participate in institutional assessment and curriculum review

• Remain current with trends, techniques, and technology

• Maintain a professional development plan

• Additional duties as assigned by the School

**Requirements**

• Master's degree in Nursing required

• Active, unencumbered state RN licensure

• Higher education teaching experience preferred

• Exceptional computer skills

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
