Job Summary

The Industrial Mechanical Supervisor position plays a crucial role in our industrial projects at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality installation process while promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Safety: Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all team members understand and adhere to our safety protocols.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee project scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource management to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean principles and work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to drive process improvements and optimize project outcomes.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and optimize tool and equipment usage, ensuring efficient project execution and minimizing waste.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, change orders, and other critical project information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination across teams.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience
  • 2+ years of job site leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Able to read and interpret job site documentation with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Lifting up to 85 pounds and ability to work in various environments
