Postharvest Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Postharvest Specialist to join our team at Holistic Industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Post-Harvest Processing: Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials, adhere to departmental and site safety policies, and follow standard operating procedures for debucking, trimming, grinding, drying, and curing cannabis harvests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Sanitize and sterilize post-harvest processing equipment, maintain facilities cleanliness, and ensure proper segregation of materials and processes.
• Packaging and Weighing: Assemble secondary packaging, fill, and package work related to flower products using aseptic techniques.
• Clean Room Environment: Work in an aseptic/clean room environment, gown properly, and maintain required standards.

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma, 2+ years skilled manufacturing work experience, and preferred cannabis experience.
• Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with weights and measures, basic math skills, ability to accurately fill out documentation, and strong organizational skills.
• Physical Demands: Very labor intensive, requiring the ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance) and work in a fast-paced environment.

• A competitive $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary, depending on experience.
