Somafina is seeking a skilled Warehouse Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting dietary supplement products to various customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 26,000 lbs. GVWR 26ft box truck to transport products to customers.
- Ensure accurate and legible completion of all required paperwork associated with the delivery of freight.
- Meet all Federal and State requirements for certification and CDL licensing for Class A, combination vehicle with airbrakes.
- Develop a team-oriented process to attain department and company objectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a valid commercial driver's license and clean driving record.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies:
- Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays.
- Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit and climb or balance.
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.
