Nurse Practitioner

Cascadia Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
Job Summary:We are committed to delivering whole-person health care by integrating behavioral and physical health services. Our team of healthcare professionals works together to provide client-centered care, promoting wellness and recovery in a compassionate and trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide quality nursing assessments and appropriate nursing care, including all medical interventions and documentation.
- Formulate Nursing Care Plans for clients' physical and mental health conditions.
- Administer psychotropic medications, including long-acting injectables (LAIs), interpret client's response to medications, monitor symptoms, and take appropriate action based on current psychopharmacology standards.
- Attend and actively participate in Team-Based Care (TBC) meetings and huddles by providing nursing expertise in planning, implementing, and evaluating holistic client care.
- Coordinate and manage client care as a liaison between client, medical staff, pharmacies, outside agencies, laboratory services, caregivers, and families when appropriate to assure continuity of quality client care.
- An active, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License and CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Must demonstrate the competencies to become credentialed as a QMHA or QMHP as per MHACBO.
