Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality care to newborns through patients 18 years of age. We are looking for a provider who is calm, focused, and caring, and familiar with a wide range of pediatric health issues.
About Our Practice
In our pediatric practice, we believe that caring is the first prescription for a lifetime of optimal health and wellness. We take the time to know and speak with our young patients and their parents to help them at every stage of life. From childhood ailments and illnesses to developmental disorders, we help our patients pave the way to a healthy and happy future.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric patient care management from newborn to age 18
- Conduct well-checks and patient exams and evaluations
- Manage acute care and sick visits
- Perform newborn visits and adolescent care visits
- Manage medication refills and procedures
- Refer patients when necessary
- Order and review labs, bloodwork, and diagnostic imaging
- Manage chronic illnesses and provide telephone triage
- Administer immunizations and document patient information
Requirements
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
- License to practice in CA
- Pediatric outpatient clinical experience (1 year minimum preferred)
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
