About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing a cloud-based platform that enables efficient delivery of high-quality, secure software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a cloud-based platform infrastructure that supports scalability, consistency, and infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
  • Integrate security and compliance into the platform using services such as encryption and access management.
  • Provide operational support for the platform and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent).
  • A U.S. government TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
  • Experience with scanning tools such as Nessus, Fortify, Anchore.
  • Multi-disciplined infrastructure experience with compute, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Experience developing, testing & delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework.
