We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Specialist to join Marriott International, Inc. as a key member of our facilities team. As a Hotel Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
  • Display proficiency in various categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers.
