Pharmacist Opportunity at Geriscript Pharmacy LLC

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Geriscript Pharmacy LLC, a leading provider of pharmacy services to nursing facilities. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and evaluate prescribed medications
  • Advise physicians and health practitioners on medication interactions and side effects
  • Provide patients and nurses with pertinent drug information
  • Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Supervise and maintain records of all medications, including narcotics
  • Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Licensed in New Jersey
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in pharmacy (preferably LTC setting)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

Schedule:

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and every third weekend 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Education and Experience:
  • Doctorate (Preferred)
  • Pharmacy Residency: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Licensed Pharmacist (Required)
