Job Description:

At Aerotek, we are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts under the immediate supervision of a certified machine operator (level II or above).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts
  • Learn how to set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers according to standard work
  • Adjust machine feed/spindle speeds and change tooling and cutters per machining
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Understand and follow quality testing techniques
Requirements:
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Computer experience (e-mail, print documents, internet)
  • Basic shop math and knowledge of Geometric Tolerances
Work Environment:

Shifts: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

Overtime is available after full training and certification, approximately 120 days into the role. Overtime requires about 8 hours per week, which can be worked throughout the week depending on machine availability.

Pay: 2nd shift = $19.50 and 3rd shift = $20
