Position Overview

The Overnight Custodian is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all facility areas to promote a welcoming environment for members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
  • Ensure locker rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and paper products.
  • Notify the Club Manager of any damaged or missing amenities or equipment, including toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, and gym apparatus.
  • Adhere to the 'Lost and Found Policy' by promptly returning lost member items to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications
  • Prior custodial experience is preferred.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts.
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic are required.
  • Ability to independently resolve issues as they arise.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Must be capable of lifting items weighing over 80 pounds on occasion.
