About the Opportunity

The Associate Dean of Student Success will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that enhance the academic and personal experiences of students at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. This involves overseeing various departments and programs focused on student support, academic advising, career management, and leadership development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education administration, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of student needs and concerns. They will be able to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to create a seamless and supportive environment for students throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive student success strategy across all academic programs at Owen Graduate School of Management
  • Oversee the coordination and collaboration among various student-facing departments, including Academic and Student Affairs, Career Management Center, Leadership Development Program, and other student-focused centers
  • Work closely with faculty and staff to identify and address student needs, promote student engagement, and foster a sense of community
  • Maintain relationships with alumni and industry partners to provide experiential learning opportunities and career guidance for students
