Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage department staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Effectively manage departmental expenses and optimize customer service levels.
  • Maintain patient, guest, and customer service relations while balancing cleanliness, integrity, hospitality, and financial results.
  • Supervise and assist with housekeeping and laundry operations on the floors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Long Term Care or full-service hotels, with a thorough understanding of housekeeping department functions.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial terms, budgeting, and accounting activities to effectively lead and manage the department budget.
  • Valid state driver's license and a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, sometimes for the entire shift.
  • Ability to move quickly around the property to various departments.
  • Ability to work well in highly stressful situations to effectively lead, provide guidance, and resolve concerns or critical issues.
