About the Role:
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals requiring inpatient and intensive outpatient services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with nurses and medical assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Manage a caseload of approximately 18-20 patients per day, depending on acuity
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements:
- Board certification in Psychiatry (fellowship in forensic psychiatry preferred)
- Active California medical license at the time of application
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
