About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a 13-week travel nursing assignment in a GI Lab setting. This exciting opportunity is based in Rochester, New York, and offers a chance to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

This position requires an RN with at least 2-3 years of experience in a GI Lab or GI Unit environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a GI Lab setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, using evidence-based practice guidelines to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documenting all aspects of patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a GI Lab or GI Unit environment.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
