As a Warehouse Manager at Simpson Strong-Tie, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials. Your key responsibilities will include managing all warehouse functions, including hiring, training, safety, and equipment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all warehouse functions, including hiring, training, safety, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate work flow for all shipping departments by attending daily performance meetings, analyzing data, and making adjustments accordingly.
  • Coach, encourage, and develop employees according to their unique interests and strengths.
  • Improve the flow of work through the department and gain mid to long term efficiencies by providing guidance and direction to the team in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain employee relations by ensuring that employee timecards are managed and accurate, resolving issues in a timely manner and consistent with company policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
  • 5 years warehouse and logistics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • 3 years proven ability to effectively lead by motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Workday.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization.

This job operates in both a professional office environment and customer sites. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

Travel: This position does not require travel.

Work Status & Location: This full-time, exempt position is located in Stockton, CA.

Relocation: Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay: $77,200 - $123,500 / year
