Relaxation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Relaxation Therapist to join our team at Urban Nirvana Spa & Salon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch massages and excellent customer service to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other therapists and estheticians to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

• Provide expert massages ranging from Swedish style and deep-tissue to specialty services like body scrubs and cupping.
• Communicate effectively with other service providers when clients book multiple services or bring guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the massage rooms by tidying up before each client and performing deep cleaning tasks at the end of each day.
• Be available for your scheduled shift to accept walk-ins and adjust to last-minute changes.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A current and active South Carolina Massage therapy license.
• Skillful knowledge of standard massage practices, particularly Deep Tissue.
• An exceptional ability to provide top-notch customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor with clients.
• A commitment to professional growth and utilization of available training and continued education opportunities.
• Availability to work afternoon and weekend shifts.

This full-time position offers competitive compensation, including benefits such as medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, and 401K. Full-time employees who work 30+ hours per week are eligible to enroll in these benefits.

Additionally, you will receive employee discounts on services and retail, and an extra $50 per week for working both days of the weekend (Bi-weekly pay periods mean potential for an additional $100 per paycheck). Your actual pay will be determined by your experience.

Please note that quarterly check-ins provide opportunities for advancement within the company.
